the Clubroom is open on Thursday evenings with the exception of the first Thursday of the month.  It is your chance to meet other Liverpool Ramblers, to book your club walks, or just to meet friends and talk.

If you are thinking about joining The Ramblers this is a perfect opportunity to speak to experienced walkers, to see what walks are available and discuss which may be the most suitable.  (It helps to see a familiar face when boarding the coach for the first time.)

Most Thursday evenings there are events related to walking, travel or of local interest.

Entrance to the Club Room costs £2.50.

The Club Room opens at 7:00pm, tea is served 7:00-7:30pm. The programmed event starts at 7:30pm, and we close at 9:00pm.

We are based at the Friends Meeting House, in School Lane, Liverpool 1.  That's just up from the Bluecoat, opposite the Old Post Office pub and only a short distance from Central Station.

Recreation Event Information

On the first Monday of the month, we have our regular Bowling Night. Meet at Edge Lane Bowling Alley at 7pm. For more details, contact Albert on 521 3360.

Our regular visit to FACT takes place on the first Tuesday of the month. Each occasion represents an opportunity to see one of the latest films. Contact Marj (263 7997) about a week before to find out what's on and time to meet. Ticket price is only £4.50 and you get a free cup of tea/coffee and biscuits - what a bargain!

If you’re a little worried that you might not be fit enough for our other club walks, then our leisurely strolls might be just the thing you’re looking for. Not too challenging, but with the oportunity to stretch yourself with good company, and the chance of a meal with friends. The leisurely strolls are approximately five miles long.

If you’ve enjoyed the activities on our programme, let us know. Your comments might be helpful to others, or if you have any suggestions for future events.
